Games About Fairies
0I read the Demo for White Wolf’s new “Changeling: The Lost” game today.
It’s a much different and yet very similar game to the old world, I think. Though the origins of the Changelings and their ultimate goals are much different, and the “True Fae” are out there, and are frightening. The way they should be.
So, in celebration of that, I’m going to talk about three different Fairy Tale games I’ve had the pleasure of reading, and/or playing, in the past few months. These are all mini-reviews. (more…)
Good Omens Con Review – Michael Parker
I had a great time at Good Omens con this last Saturday, and I really think that the whole thing went off rather well. After some last minuet cancellations and pickups (we love you Rich thanks for helping us). Everything ran fairly smoothly the day of.

Good Omens Con review coming soon -Sean Nittner
0I really, really wanted to sit down and write a review of the con tonight to post on the site. However after many hours of driving and being on the beach all day, my eyes refuse to stay open and while I can touch type just fine I don’t trust my evil fingers to do my bidding without close supervision. I’ll post a formal review shortly, but to sum up the con was great. The GMs were great, the players were awesome, and EndGame rocks for hosting us. More inane details (and on very blurry picture) to follow.

KublaCon! Best Yet! – Michael Parker
1This last weekend I indulged in going to KublaCon in San Francisco.
Friday
I was planning on leaving around 12:30 on Friday to get to the Convention early (very early) but do to a combination of things (Mostly Stupid Gas stations that don’t accept credit cards) I was just on time to start the check in process and get to my first game. I decided that I wanted to run two games this convention. The first was on Friday at 4:00 – 8:00 (I let everyone out about 15 before that just to get everything together for the 8 o’clock set).

Kubla! – by Rasilind
4Well, it seems a good time was had by all! I encountered no drama, things went smoothly, and all the games I played in (and ran) were tons of fun. Sean’s Office Waste game was the superstar in my experience. A big thanks to Sean and everyone who played in that game for making it so hilarious it was painful (My side is still cramping)
Rich, you CAT game was fantastic… commie rat bastages!
Mystery Men went off without a hitch, it got off to a bit of a slow start, and I saw that it was late enough that I really needed it make it more exciting to keep everyone interested and still having a good time, so I kicked it up a notch and that seemed to do the trick. (more…)
